Who Does the Work
We work on the doors that are actually sitting in driveways around here, torsion and extension springs, openers, tracks, rollers, cables, and panels, on single and double doors alike. A lot of the housing stock in this part of the county went up between 1938 and 2009, with most of it dating to the 1980s and 90s. That means we see a wide spread of hardware on any given week: older side-mounted torsion setups on the pre-1980s houses, and heavier steel sectional doors with chain-drive openers on the newer builds. We don't specialize in one door brand or one era, we specialize in fixing what's in front of us.
We don't do new home construction framing or structural garage work. If your door problem turns out to be a bowed header or a settling foundation, that's outside what we handle, and we'll tell you so instead of pretending otherwise. Most calls we take are springs, openers that won't respond, doors off track, or panels that took a hit. If it's something else, we'll say so on the phone before you set an appointment, not after a truck shows up.

What makes a quote accurate: the door's size and material, whether it's one piece or sectional, the opener brand if there is one, and what it's actually doing wrong, won't open, opens partway, makes a bang, sags on one side. A photo of the spring setup or the broken part helps more than a long description. What we can't price over the phone: anything where the spring has already let go and bent the track, water damage to the panels, or a door that's been forced open with the opener still engaged.
